“The Fine Art of Metal” Invitational exhibit at Montgomery College- Rockville Art Gallery, Rockville, Maryland.

1999 National competitive exhibition / The work “Executive Woman’s Blouse” was chosen as one of thirty-five winners in this year’s Metalsmithing Magazine. The work earned a one page pictorial and description in Volume 19, Number 4, on page 40.

Exhibited work at the Inaugural Exhibition for Florida and the Southeast, Gulf Coast Museum of Art. The work “Shirt with Tie” is part of the permanent collection.

1998 “Dress Up” Artists Address Clothing and Self Adornment - Invitational at the Wustum Museum of Fine Arts in Racine, Wisconsin. May 31 - Aug. 30.

“The Art of Teaching” Regional Faculty Invitational Exhibition held at the Columbus Museum of Art, Columbus, Georgia. May 24 - Aug. 2.
The Work titled “PI” was acquired for the permanent collection of the Museum. From the 42 artists represented in this regional exhibit, only two works were purchased for the collection.

“Holloware Past and Present” National Invitational Exhibition held at the Seafirst Gallery in Seattle, Washington. This exhibition was held this past Summer during the annual National Conference of the Society of American Goldsmiths.

“Asian Roots, Western Soil” Visual Poetry in Metal. Slide presentation by Dawn E. Nakanishi. 6 of my works were represented in this slide presentation held during the annual National Conference of The Society of American Goldsmiths.

“Sofa - Chicago 1998" three works of mine were presented in this art exhibition by the Katie Gingrass Gallery, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. August 1998.

My works were selected to represent the United States in the Asia Pacific Arts Forum. In this first phase, my works are documented in the World Wide Web. In the second phase, an international committee will be selecting the works that will be representing the United States with the actual works.
